Endoscopic Variceal Ligation (EVL)

 A 55 year old male presented with c/o jaundice; abdominal distension. He is a chronic alcoholic; last drink 3 days back. On investigating is diagnosed as Chronic Liver Disease. AntiHCV is positive. Upper GI Endoscopy showed LARGE VARICES WITH SEVERE PORTAL HYPERTENSIVE GASTROPATHY. Endoscopic Variceal Ligation was done.
